Daylighting Analysis and Physical Modeling Project
OVERVIEW:
This project explores the physical and perceptual qualities of daylight in an architectural space. Working in teams of three, we were tasked with selecting a well-daylit building and replicating its lighting characteristics through a high-quality physical model. The goal was to develop a deeper understanding of daylight as a dynamic and design-defining element in architecture.
Through a combination of research analysis, simulation, and hands-on modeling, the project encouraged us to engage with natural light across different times of the year.
